Power frequency start-up impulse current is large

Ordinary screw air compressors use the star-delta starting method, which starts at 5-8 times the rated current, which has a large impact on the power grid, which is likely to cause instability of the power grid and threaten the operation safety of other electrical equipment, causing abnormalities.

Power waste of loading and unloading

After the traditional screw air compressor reaches the required working pressure, the pressure will continue to rise until the pressure is unloaded. For example, if the air compressor only needs 6bar of pressure, it must be hit to 8bar, and then load when it drops to 6bar, so two wastes are produced. One is when the motor is idling when it is lowered from 8bar to 6bar, causing serious no-load waste; the other is the waste of pressure difference rising from 6bar to 8bar. According to the survey, every increase of 1bar of pressure consumes 7% more electricity, and 2bar of pressure consumes 14% more electricity.

In addition, due to the limitation of the power frequency control mode, the motor cannot be started and stopped frequently. Therefore, the motor still has to run without load when the air consumption is low, and the electric energy is wasted hugely.

Unstable pressure, slow adjustment

Ordinary screw air compressors have a low degree of automation. The output pressure is adjusted by the control of the loading and unloading valve and the regulating valve. The adjustment speed is slow, the fluctuation is large, the accuracy is low, and the output pressure is unstable.

Accelerated wear and large maintenance

The working method of the power frequency control determines that the loading and unloading valve must be repeatedly operated, and the components are easy to age; continuous high-speed operation of the power frequency not only makes the noise loud, but also accelerates the wear of the bearing and requires a large amount of equipment maintenance.
